Narrow lane heavy rack, also known as narrow lane type rack or narrow aisle rack, is a special storage rack system, mainly used to achieve high density storage in a limited space. The total height can be designed up to 15 meters, aiming to maximize the use of vertical space while maintaining good access efficiency.

The main feature of the narrow roadway heavy rack is its narrow roadway width, which allows forklifts or other handling equipment to operate in a narrow space. Generally speaking, the roadway width of narrow roadway racks is between 1600mm and 2000mm. It is necessary to use a three-way stacking forklift (also called a narrow tunnel forklift) to access the cargo.

The narrow lane heavy duty racking system allows 100% pallets to be accessed individually, allowing free picking of goods even in the case of high-density storage. Narrow lane heavy duty racks are suitable for those with high storage requirements and limited space, such as logistics centers and distribution centers, which often require frequent goods in and out of storage operations and want to maximize the use of limited warehouse space.
