Its operation process is as follows: after the warehouse management system receives the instructions, it dispatches the AGV unmanned forklift to the target aisle. The AGV precisely drives to the front of the racking, using its onboard navigation and vision systems to automatically identify and grasp the shuttle board in the aisle, and place it at the designated storage position. Then, the AGV issues instructions to the shuttle board, and the shuttle board begins the storage and retrieval of pallets in the aisle. After the task is completed, the AGV takes out the shuttle board, or sends it to the next operation aisle, or returns it to the charging position.
It can be seen that with the addition of the AGV unmanned forklift, the entire process requires no manual intervention, achieving fully automated storage management. However, its cost is higher than that of a simple shuttle rack. After all, this saves a lot of management costs such as labor costs.
