Drive-in rack is a type of dense and heavy-duty rack. Forklifts can directly enter the storage aisles to retrieve goods. For enterprises with high storage requirements, they will prioritize the use of this type of warehouse rack, which has an extremely high cost performance. How many layers can be designed for the drive-in rack customization? Let's find out.

What is the maximum height that the warehouse rack for forklift retrieval and storage can be designed to? It depends on the height that the forklift can lift and the available height of the warehouse and other spaces. Generally, the lifting height of forklifts is within 10 meters, so the total height of the corridor-type rack is usually within 10 meters as well. The layer height is generally around 1.5 meters, depending on the height of the goods. Therefore, the number of layers of the drive-in rack is usually designed within the range of 2 to 5, as forklifts need to enter the storage aisles to retrieve goods, to ensure efficiency and ease of use, the rack should not be too high. At the same time, the depth of the storage position (i.e., the number of pallets in the aisle) also affects the design. Generally, it is recommended that the single direction of pallet positions does not exceed 6-7.

It can be seen that the number of layers that can be designed for drive-in rack customization is uite large. With dense storage of goods, it can fully utilize space, and it is one of the widely used dense and heavy-duty racks in warehouses, cold storage, etc.
