Can through-type rack be placed on the shelves with material boxes?

Drive-in racking (also known as drive-in racking) is a high-density storage system, suitable for the storage of large quantities and few varieties of goods, and is generally placed on pallets. Can the through-type rack be placed on the rack with material boxes? Let's find out below.
Not recommended. The goods placed on the shelves in material boxes are usually small and irregular items. If such goods are directly placed on pallets, they are prone to fall off. Therefore, they are generally stored in material boxes, iron boxes or storage cages before being placed on the shelves. Moreover, through-type shelves require forklifts to store and retrieve goods, and material boxes are generally not directly handled by forklifts, which makes them prone to damage. In addition, the volume of each material box is small. After stacking, it is prone to tilting and falling off, posing safety hazards. Therefore, it is not recommended to use material boxes on the shelves.
If it is necessary to use material boxes, you can consider neatly stacking them on pallets and then using forklifts to store and retrieve them as a whole. In this way, the design can use through-type shelves. But in this way, the procurement cost will be high. Therefore, it is not recommended to directly use through-type shelves on material boxes for storage. You can consider using pallet shelves, mezzanine shelves, platform shelves, or material box stereoscopic warehouse shelves, etc. All these types are suitable for using material boxes on shelves.
